Im an FNG at this so I could use a push on how to do something. I’d like to make a twinkleing star like the one on this link. [http://www.tarinatarantino.com/main.html](http://www.tarinatarantino.com/main.html) You can see it in the eye of the woman in the picture. I dont even know where to start, graphic morphing, alpha, etc or what. Thanks. Gakker ---

It basically some simple tweens with alpha fading and rotations applied. I made an example for you to use and study. ---

Ok this is pretty easy…Open photoshop…Open a new document (transparent bgrd)…Now select your brush tool…Locate the brush tip that is shaped like that star…Make sure your foreground is white…with the appropriate brush and tips selected (100% flow and Opacity)…on your transparent canvas click the mouse once to place a star smack in the middle of the canvas… Export that image as a .png 24…Now in Flash Import your newly made graphic. Place it one the stage and make it a movie clip (cntrl+f8 name it imp\_glint)…I would make a new movie called sparkle (f8)…Now drag imp\_glint onto it…Now do a tween of imp\_glint from opacity 0 to 100% and back to 0%…You can also add a rotation if you like. Now back to the main timeline…drag sparkle out in various places you want the animation to occur… That was a very quick explanation and I know I miht have left something out but if you run into a snag let me know in this post. ---

You don’t have to do it in Photoshop though. You could easily do that right within Flash. ---
