There’s irony and affection for the fetishism and the fashion faux pas,[gucci shoes sneakers, but the kicks scarcely leave a mark. Nor is there a musical number featuring children in a sweatshop – for a show about shoes that’s just a missed opportunity. It’s disappointing, too,[url=http://famousonlinesales.com/gucci/gucci-handbags\_49.html]gucci handbags, that while shoes are always a reference,[url=http://famousonlinesales.com/Timberland/Timberland.html]Timberland, they’re hardly explored as choreographic material,[url=http://famousonlinesales.com/Timberland/timberland-boots\_46.html]timberland boots, which means they often feel just like what they are: accessories. Buy this by all means, just don’t be surprised if you feel unfulfilled. There are clever video projections,[url=http://famousonlinesales.com/converse/converse.html]converse, from disembodied dancing shoes to psychedelic disco glitter. The show is a sequence of self-contained numbers,[url=http://famousonlinesales.com]Cheap Famous, with interludes featuring brief comedy songs, or solo dancers moving awkwardly in outsize footwear – flippers, clown shoes, skis. Some numbers hit the spot. A stage full of nuns sing what sounds like a Latin mass, It’s a simple one, but rich in theatrical,[url=http://famousonlinesales.com/reebook/reebok-shoes\_48.html]reebok shoes, visual and choregraphic possibilitiescontemporary dance wunderkind Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui; Aletta Collins,[url=http://famousonlinesales.com/reebook/reebok-easytone\_47.html]reebok easytone, who works in dance, opera and theatre, and deaf dance-maker Mark Smith, who experiments with sign language.Putting such diverse talent together might seem excessive,[url=http://famousonlinesales.com/Coach/coach-purses\_43.html]coach purses, but it also screams “crossover appeal”.Add in dancers from TV’s So You Think You Can Dance,[url=http://famousonlinesales.com/Ugg/ugg-boots\_41.html]ugg boots, and you get artistic kudos gift-wrapped in a shiny commercial package. That’s on paper. On stage,[url=http://famousonlinesales.com/converse/converse-all-star\_50.html]converse all star, it’s much the same – it hasn’t quite come off the page. It looks impressive: a huge,[url=http://famousonlinesales.com/Coach/coach-outlet-online\_42.html]coach outlet online, multilevel set has the band sitting atop a giant stiletto (entrances are sometimes made by sliding down its insole). The idea, from writer and composer Richard Thomas,[url=http://famousonlinesales.com/Coach/Coach.html]Coach, was to create a song-and-dance show about shoes…A large creative team made it reality: as well as Thomas (best known as the composer of Jerry Springer: the Opera) it included West End choreographer Stephen Mear; Kate Prince,[url=http://famousonlinesales.com/puma/puma-shoes\_45.html]puma shoes, creator of hip-hop musical Into the Hoods;but the words are “Manolo Blahnik” and “Jimmy Choo”. A group of dancers undergo health and safety training in how to wear high heels (they need helmets) and end up like upturned beetles,[url=http://famousonlinesales.com/puma/puma-swede\_44.html]puma swede, stilettos waving in the air. One blackly comic scene relates the story of the curse of family shoes,[url=http://famousonlinesales.com/puma/puma.html]puma, as a posed wedding portrait gives way to mordant snapshots of transvestism,[url=http://famousonlinesales.com/gucci/gucci.html]gucci, paralysis and misplaced paternity. There’s plenty of wit in the words – “time wounds all heels”,[url=http://famousonlinesales.com/converse/converse-shoes\_51.html]converse shoes, and the Imelda Marcos song is hilarious. But between the high points,[url=http://famousonlinesales.com/Ugg/Ugg.html]Ugg, the show wades through stretches of light entertainment in flip-flops, sparkly platforms,[url=http://famousonlinesales.com/reebook/reebook.html]reebook, or [url=http://famousonlinesales.com/Ugg/ugg-boots\_41.html]Ugg boots.相关的主题文章： [url=http://www.dogohoo.com/bbs/boke.asp?famoussale7.showtopic.62596.html]gucci handbags Lends a Helping Hand this Back-to-S [url=http://www.softsnet.com/vb/showthread.php?p=172889#post172889]Buy this by all means, just don’t be surprised if you feel unfulfilled.
