# Urgent help required

im a little stumped as to the nature of MovieClips.

i have been playing around with a color picking component and was wondering why the color of a MovieClip when changed doesn’t stick if you jump around the timeline.

i have attached a little .fla (zipped) that hopefully explains a little better.

is there any way i can make the top circles hold their color after i have clicked away and come back, global properties or something or am I going about this the wrong way to pull off this effect.
