I have to do a Flash portfolio for university. I am having so much trouble with it. Would someone please be able to help me? I need to use AS3.0 and I think it has to be in a seperate AS file. I have a Home Page where I would like some animation but not necessary, Gallery with some simple transitions and a contact and about me page. Could you explain a little bit more what you’re trying to accomplish? Post some code, post the fla, post an url as an example… ---

First of all relax. Secondly, upload your file to some type of file server such as [http://yousendit.com](http://yousendit.com) and explain exactly what your issues are in a calm educated way so you can get an educated response. As of right now you made 3 posts, none of which explain anything except you need help. We know you need help that’s why you are here. But make our lives easier by explaining yourself and your situation. ---

I was calm. Now I am just frustrated that no one bothers to help just demand I explain something I obviously have no idea about. If I knew I would fix it myself. I am a super newbie and some consideration would be helpful on a HELP forum. I was told this forum was good for help. I wont be telling others the same. ---

Excuse me, but this is a problem solving forum, not some forum where everyone is willing to put time into a project for someone who thinks they’re entitled to something they’re not. Lose the attitude, or lose whatever help may come your way. You’ve given absolutely no indication as to what your problems are, where your code is not working, or even what you’re trying to accomplish. Nobody is under any obligation to help someone with an attitude and a lack of information. When you try to publish from Flash, what are the errors Flash gives? ---

After spending an hour or so with Kathryn on MSN, her assignment issues were solved. Sometimes it difficult to express the help required on forums, a little one-on-one time did the trick. I for one will be “bigging” up this forum; it’s a valuable source of information for seasoned or new people alike. yes, this is a very good forum. every now and then, there is a bit of a lull in the help supply, but i guess that will happen. Incidentally, not sure what your 1 on 1 was on msn, i sent through the fixed file to her last night. after she asked if i could do it… I didn’t get a reply about “thanks but someone has alrady sorted it.”… rather strange. ---
