# Url without showing the file, just the folder

I’m wondering how it’s possible to make a link that goes to a particular page but only shows the folder for example:  
[www.mysite.com/folder](http://www.mysite.com/folder)

that link might actually take you to [www.mysite.com/folder/mypage.htm](http://www.mysite.com/folder/mypage.htm)

but I don’t want that page to be shown in the link window.

Would I do this with an htaccess file?
