# Use of Smarty Templating System

I didn’t quite know whether this would belong in here or Random, but Server Side seemed most appropriate.

I just want to know if anyone has experience using Smarty for their client work. Do the clients appreciate it/find it easy to template their site? Do you find it easy to integrate?

I’d like to start using a templating system simply because I don’t and can’t design… period.

Input on classes from the PEAR library vs. making similar more customized solutions would be appreciated as well (like using auth vs. making a user authentication system yourself).
