I don’t have any of the fancy Macromedia Flash players or what not, all I have is FlashMX and AS2, so I do what I can. Last night I decided to try something that worked fairly well and I would like some opinions from more experience programmers.

In the small game I made I created a second layer and dumped all my functions into it’s frames, I turned them all \_global, added the list of variables where needed and changed any thing that needed to be such as a (this.\_x to ball.x and whatnot). Everything appeared to be in order and functioned the way I wanted them to.

I was wondering if this was a bad idea, it seems to work for the moment. Any comments?
