# Using FlashButtons in Frontpage

I have been trying to make a flash button link to an html page in frontpage (like a normal button) but none of the action scripts will open the page …any help would be cool .

i think this thread belongs in the “client-side” forum, hopefull a
mod will take care of this prob!
well y don’t u make the action in flash?
y bother tryin to embed each button in html and then add the \ blah blah to each button. i think the tutorial section of kirupa has a tutorial concerning this matter!

it is much better to use dreamweaver than frontpage as [dw] has control over the use of normal html plus the association with flash components. If you want a simple flash button, insert one in dreamweaver then it will come up the window. Set you urls and what not and thats it.
