# Using free transform tool in Illustrator

I can’t get this tool to work on perspective. Does anyone has similar problem?

I can use it to scale and rotate but I just can’t get it to change to the single arrow when i put it at the bounding box corner. Try it on simple shapes or images and it wouldn’t let me distort it.

I know there are other methods but I want to figure out why I can’t seem to distort using this tool.

Please enlighten me. Thanks!
