# Using JavaScript to Open New Window

I used this Javascript to have a window open in flash  
(reference page - [http://www.kirupa.com/developer/flash5/newwindow.htm](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/flash5/newwindow.htm))  
I host all my files on [Tripod.com](http://Tripod.com). If I go to [http://numicband.tripod.com/index2.htm](http://numicband.tripod.com/index2.htm) and click on mailinglist it works just fine.  
However if I go to [www.numic.com](http://www.numic.com/) then click on the mailing list link the javascript window will not open.

I am using IE 6 and noticed that some machines will work ok and others will not.

In Netscape it will work just fine as well

Does anyone know why the window will not open?
