# Using Object Literals

Hi,

I’m attemtpting to consolidate this:

```auto

v.createEmptyMovieClip("container_mc", this.getNextHighestDepth());
	v.container_mc._x = 100;
	v.container_mc._y = 50;

```

with this:

```auto

v.createEmptyMovieClip("container_mc", this.getNextHighestDepth(),{this:_x:100,this:_y:50});

```

The \_X and \_y properties are ignored, what did I goof?
