Hi,
I am developer using FlashMX 2004 and i have a small requirement that i have to show another image on the existing frame itself based on some events from the backend.
I think it may be possible by these onion skins.
Any help & suggestion are welcome.
Thanks in advance.

onion skins are only an aide to animators. They exist not at runtime.

For onion skin-like effects, you would probably want to make a duplicate of the clip needed to use it and offset it by a frame (and adjust alpha/tint if needed) so that it shadows the original.
