boy… just most… I pretty much want to hack up all management here with an axe and stick em in the dumpster out back. 😛
Ryall… take out a big stick and beat a rock… it helps I assure you. (imaginging someone’s head under your blows doesn’t hurt either.)

It’s the middle managers that get me - ones who don’t really do anything and are incapable of making a decision other than which office toys to have on their desk.
Actually, I tell a lie. Top managers and directors p1ss me off too. They way they break their PC then demand for it to be fixed \immediately\ when every other employee has to wait their turn…
Now I’m venting, do excuse me.
I need a big stick…

“My automatic drink holder. The one that comes out of the front of my pc.”
(tech proceeds to drill hole in forehead with a dewalt in order to avoid any further the ramblings of the insatiably stupid.)

User: “I was writing a document on Word, and my computer has locked up.”
Support: “Well, let’s see. Can you close the Window?”
User: “Hang on… No, that didn’t help…”
_User has tried to close physical window in the building_
User: “Hello? Is that the Helpdesk? My foot pedal won’t work.”
Helpdesk: “Sorry? Footpedal?”
User: “Yes… The one that’s on a long lead from the back of my computer.”
_User has been attempting to brake with the mouse_

When I was working a helpdesk for a technical school, I once got a call from the automotive shop that they had been loosing sensitive work log data on thier floppies.
I went down to investigate and to my horror when I asked where the diskettes were the dumb bastard had huge magnets holding thier floppies to thier file cabinets.
I honestly almosed wet my pants.

hahahahaha - that’s soooo funny! I had the same problem at my school. The IDIOT computer teacher couldnt figure out why the floppies were always going currupt or missing information.
I then happend to notice that in the desk drawer where he kept them - there was a HUGE magnent! What an idiot. We all laughed 🙂

i have to vent. this idiot, in plain english, told me he hopes i get SARS. ARGH. mean people stink. he didnt even have a good REASON to say sucha cruel thing. he’s jsut mad cuz i made him sign a contract that he wouldn’t harass me anymore unless he was willing to deal with the legal reprocussions, cuz he had been harassing me and threatening me and stuff.
why are people like this??? why can’t we all just LOVE ONEANOTHER? kirupa should be a model for a utopian society. i mean, ppl get mean here once in a while, but then they just get censored. hehe.
