Hello out there,

I’ve already posted this to another forum so apologies if I’m repeating myself.

I am using features of Flash MX or Flash Player 6, I’m also interested in using features of Flash Player 7, but how can I guarantee that users of older players won’t just leave my site, even if I let them download the latest player?

A poll on macromedia’s site indicated that most people have Flash 5, and player 6 is only just becoming recognised. This is worrying for someone who is virtually relying on Flash 6 and therefore it is not feasible for me to target older players. Is this a problem? and will users of older players avoid my site?
