Hi Everyone, I’ve been searching for help all over, but can’t quite find exactly what I’m looking for. I need a vertical text or image scroller that: 1. has Mouse-Over controls to move up and down 2. has a “stop scrolling” feature if the mouse rolls off of the buttons 3. does not require external text or image files to load into the movie - I need to keep everything inside of one Fla. I need to put this scroller inside of an existing movie on the main timeline. I hope I’m making sense - It seems simple, but I’m even simpler than this. Could someone point me in the right direction, if something like this already exists elsewhere? Thank you in advance! macgirl ---

Hi again electrongeek - You come to my rescue again! I tried downloading the attachment, but it turns into “attachment.php” and doesn’t seem to work. I saw a thread somewhere about macs not taking these attachments or something like that. Would you be able to put it up in a different form, or somewhere else? Thanks again, macgirl ---

That’s done pretty well electrongeek… Can you make mouseOver vertical scrollbars for a dynamic text box? I’m loading in text from a TXT file, and that text is larger than the designated size of the movie. Thereby I’m not so sure that using a mask will be able to accomplish my goal. Is there a way to make the textbox dynamically large enough to contain all the data, and then use that with a mask? Or is there a simpler way to use vertical scrollbars on mouseOver? Bringin back the old threads :rambo:
