# Very minor door dent, call police?

today, I was pulling into a parking lot and when I was opening my door another car was pulling in and my door hit her car and made a very tiny scratch (it was windy and the wind kind of took my door when I was opening it). I apologized but She was kind of pissed, it was her sisters car but I think she overreacted a bit since there was really nothing there, plus insurance will cover it anyways. I told her to take my insurance info and I took hers and also bought a disposable camera and I took a picture of her door when she was in the store. Should I have called the police for this ? Do I call my insurance or does she call it in first ? also, the car isn’t hers as I mentioned before.
