# Very Quick question about CGI

Hi all,

Just investigating CGI for the first time - I have downloaded a pre-made script which looks like good fun - the readme tells me to put the finished .cgi file in the cgi-bin folder for my webpage - unfortunately there isn’t one - I created one but when linked to the server gave a FORBIDDEN message - it seems there are a few possiblities

- My CGI file is corrupt (not unlikely)
- My ISP don’t support CGI
- I’m a idiot and have missed something (most probable)

Any ideas?
