# Video Import Issues in Flash 8 - halts

I’m trying to import three WMV files into my Flash 8 app. The encoder gets to about 3 seconds in, then craps out and yet tells me it’s completed the imports. When I test the resulting swfs, it only displays the first 3 seconds of the movies, repeatedly.

Can anyone tell me what’s going wrong? I reinstalled Flash 8 and the encoder, thinking it was maybe a corrupt installation, but that wasn’t the case. Is it possibly a corrupt wmv file? Something else I may be doing wrong? The files are about 8-12 MB. Thanks…
