# Vista - Could another delay be good?

A special readers panel at CNET’s [news.com](http://www.news.com/) seems to think that Vista Beta 2 is too far from RC1 to make the January 2007 release date. However, a delay might be a good thing, because what will last over the next several years is the quality of the product, not how long it took to come out. Here’s the link:
