# Wacom Pen distance from tablet! can it be changed?

I just got a new tablet – before I had used the ones at my university, - BUT, with my tablet I have to get really close with the pen to move the cursor compared to the ones at my school — does this depend on the stylus? or the tablet? or some driver?
