# Wait x seconds, how?

Hi, i want to have some action script code like:  
//some code here  
//wait so many seconds(or milliseconds)  
//then do so more code here

I know I could do this using the time line and lots of frames, but surley there is a way to do it in actionscript.

How would I do this, or is it near impossible and better to do it with frames?
