ok, so my boss’ aunt needs someone to maintain their website (just with very simple updates) and he asked me to do it.

i don’t know if this is the place to ask this, but i was wondering how much people usually charge for very simple, basic (not necessarily frequent) updates. i’ve never done **just** maintenance before, so i’m really at a loss as to what i should be charging.

any help would be appreciated!

Around here where I live there’s not many Website Maintenance companies and I know they charge a lot! I saw an invoice at my old job and for simple updates (such as added links) it was about $50, now this is a bit extreme, and I was going to offer to take over the job but I ended up quitting that job to pursue my career in Flash. Anyway I’d say going by your regular hourly rate (as .RobinK said above).
