I voted for coondog in the grunge battle. His piece just felt more ‘grungey’ to me. deepcode’s entry was insane too, but the colours and layout in conndog’s were sooo good I had to vote for him.

what really bothers me about coondog’s is the repeated elements. the page wrinkles, the photo sheets and even the tape are obvious duplicates of each other. There was no attempt at adding variation at all. That having been said, it did seem a little more “grungy” from the splatters. That alone couldn’t heal the duplication issue I had with it 😛

Hmm… I’ve had mine done for a while… but I haven’t been online to upload it. I got 27 computers that needed to rebuild, reformat, and upgrade… I only have 5 more left though so hopefully I’ll be done by this weekend and get my computer back online to submit mine again. I hate doing the stupid SP1 update, takes waaaaay to long.

I noticed that too Sen. Which is why it did not get my vote. Felt to prefabricated.
Bright side simplistik is that you will have to do it in a bit for sp2…lol. Unless you do like I did and do a network push on it…

LoL… actuallyl after this they are out of my hands. I’m only gettin paid to do them now… not later 🙂 so if they find out about the update and want it or whatever, they can do it themselves or pay me more.

coondogs uses elements from his website- it was unoriginal in my opinion - while the colors were good and the photos excellent, there was too much negative space surrounding the focal point and then just a few splatter brushes on the sides.
dont’ get me wrong it looks good, but doesn’t compare to deepcode’s
