Many sites have this news thingy or whatever you call it where visitor can type a message and then it is displayed in a box. Really cool thing! How can this be done in flash? Not looking for anything fancy but KIS Keep It Simple! 🙂

Jubba is writing a tutorial on a guestbook in Flash.
If you can wait until that is complete you will have your answer 🙂
BTW: It is called a ShoutBox (also known as a guestbook, although true guestbooks are a bit different)

He is writing the tutorial now. I think it is supposed to be up by the end of the year, but you will have to ask him that.

ok! perhaps you can help me out with this effect that i’m trying to create! It doesn’t look that good at the moment.

I get an unexpected file format error.
I am using Flash MX so that isn’t the problem.
The file must be corrupted or something.
