# Webcam and Motion Detection

[FONT=Arial]I have tried “ **Live Motion Detection** ” in flash with my webcam and the BitmapData-class in flash.[/FONT]  
[FONT=Arial]I can’t get it work as I want. I am wondering if someone has tried this function in flash. [/FONT]

[FONT=Arial]I have done a similar effect but I have a few things I want to modify, but I can’t get it to work:[/FONT]

[FONT=Arial]\*\*1. \*\*I want the “fire” or DisplacementMapFilter (as it is called in the code) to stay for a time and not disappear right away. [/FONT]

[FONT=Arial]\*\*2. \*\*I have tried to ad a GlowFilter class but can’t make it work, what should I think of when adding more filters?[/FONT]

[FONT=Arial]\*\*3. \*\*I have added a move clip with the instance name “ball\_mc” which should react when it detects a motion. And after that the DisplacementMapFilter shall change colour. How do I do this?[/FONT]

[FONT=Arial] **4.** The Video clip called “vid” I want to be transparent, but then I don’t know if the question above works.[/FONT]

[FONT=Arial] **5.** I also would like to get a snapshot maybe every minute and it should be send to a server/database.[/FONT]
