# (Websafe) Colors and Flash

By accident I stumbled upon a laptop where I could view my new Flashsite. Hence a few colordifferences (216 colors) I noticed that:

- some placed gif’s have a color difference with the same hex numbered background (but I guess that is due to the not using websafe colors)
- but more alarming some symbols with an Alpha 0% are actually visable.

How is this possible?

actually, they are 16bit colors, but who’s counting 😉
