I’ve never come across this problem before so I’m wondering if anyone has seen it and knows what the problem is.

My Problem

* * *

I’m loading in a swf into an empty placeHolder, the swf contains a ComboBox Component. When it’s loaded into the placeHolder it doesn’t drop down or do anything. If I load it into the main timeline, it works.

Does anyone know why the ComboBox Component works on the main timeline but not inside an MC?

Thanks in advance.

You have to use componentinstance.setMask(mask\_mc); look it up in the actionscript dictionary, you will find the slution there!
