# What do I need to research?

Hey Guys,  
Once again tryng to stretch my boundaries …but im lost on where to start!

I want to right a script that brings in external variables from PHP. Ive got no problem with formating this data in XML if it helps.

I then want to create buttons instances for each variable…one under another …I guess liek a dynamically populated menu?

SO where do I start? What AS functions shoudl I be looking at?

Tutorial links also much appreciated 😃
