… when you enter somebodys website in search of a potential person to do your job (webdesign in general) in terms of:
a) content - what kind of information would you like to find/read
b) visual presentation - does wiz-bang effects help or not?

I’m asking because, I’m torn between making a fairly advanced flash website with a moderate quantity of info and effects, or just make something really simple, like contact info and recent projects. Personaly, I think that most flash portfolio sites are too overloaded with effects, and not nearly as readable and usuable as they seem, mostly because of wacky interfaces/menus.

What do you think?

Oh, and here’s my site now, it’s been like that for 2 years now 😛
