# What does a xmlsocket host need?

Hello  
I have designed a chatroom with xmlsocket and it works fine in localhost.  
now i want to upload and run in the server , but i have no experience in it.  
Please answer my questions about setting up a server:  
1- Do i need a dedicated ip or i can connect with shared ip?  
2- Do i need ssh shell access or not?  
3- Do i need command line to run the socket or just i need to open it in browser?  
3- Do i need some special authority to open or use ports for xmlsocket?
