# What the hell!

when i try to publish my flash, ctrl + enter it gives me this erroe, (ive used this file befroe and published many times and ig et this error only this time)

“Error creating Flash movie file”

Be sure the destination file is not locked or on a locked drive, Also check that the filename is not too long.

Please help!!

I experienced that error before. I think if the file is in the diskette or CD, you must copy the file into your computer then publish it. Or if the file is in your computer then the error occurs, open the file then save it into other directory. =)

I don’t think this is the case either, but do not open Flash movie from the networked drive and work on that… Always create a local copy and use that… 😉

CyanBlue is right !!! you are accessing the fla from read only shared folder from other system. so pls. save file to your system and publish it.

right click the file, select properties, and untick “Read Only”

does it to me all the time… :evil:
