An obviously-needed feature of any OS is an easy way to view the contents of your hard disk sorted by filesize. For Windows users, Sequoiaview uses treemaps to show a list of files sorted porportionally. For example, if you had a file taking up 80% of your hard drive called divx\_movies.zip, it would take up 80% of main screen of this program.
