# When does a lighter workflow start costing clarity?

I keep noticing teams celebrate shorter processes, then spend the saved time untangling who actually decided what. The work feels faster right up until the first real disagreement.

Has anyone seen a lighter workflow genuinely improve product outcomes, not just meetings on paper?

Fast process is great until ownership gets blurry.

If nobody can name the decider in ten seconds, the workflow got too light.
