I keep noticing how much product strategy changes once a company starts optimizing for scale instead of craft. The thing on the box stays the same, but the support, hiring, and little bits of care around it feel different.

Maybe that’s just normal business pressure, but it also seems like customers can tell when a company has decided margins matter more than the experience. Where have you seen that line get crossed?

I notice it first in support: when the “talk to a human who can actually do something” path disappears and everything becomes macros and ticket deflection.
