[http://www.amarillodj.com/](http://www.amarillodj.com/) First page called “Home” I have scrolling text. When I move the scroll bar it highlites the text. I used the Developement Panels --\> Components --\> TextArea Component to create this text area. ---

😛 The music is only temporary. I put it there to test my music player. I removed the text field and added it again. Still same problem. ---

In the flash document, you should be able to click select the text box and then look in the “Properties” panel. If you expand the properties, there’s an icon with an “Ab” in it where the “b” is selected. It will look like it is a button that is pressed down. Deselect it to make the text unselectable. ---

Seems that this is only happening when I have this text area in an externaly loaded swf. I have a main movie that loads external swf files. In my external swf files I use the text area component to display the text. The text is loaded dynamically from an external xml file. So it all looks like this: main.swf --\> external.swf --\> text.xml When I view the text in the external.swf it is fine. But when I see it from my main movie it get highlighted.
