anyone know where I can find tones of real musical instruments to download for free, or even to purchase at a cheap price? ---

One program you can use is Guitar Pro. Don’t let the name fool you; it’s got other instruments you can use as well. It’s got a really nice layout and you’re able to compose your own music and whatnot, probably more than what you’re asking. Problem is, they’re all MIDI. Mixing/Beat programs like FruityLoops have some real instrument sounds in their databanks. But most, including fruity, cost money. ---

I downloaded the demo of guitar pro and that is exactly what i’m looking for. Although it is a bit too much 59$ for the stuff i want to do with it. oh well looks like I’ll have to borrow a friends synth.
