# Which movie format is best to import?

Hi, I am new to Flash and am getting started and have not bought a camera yet. My question is what camera or movie format is best to use as input to import into flash for a web video clip? The clips will be one minute or less and stand on their own. I don’t know whether to get a regular digital camera that creates Quicktime (.mov) or .avi or .mpg or (.dvi with a regular camcorder). A camera that takes video clips would be fine for me unless the experts here say that a real camcorder that creates .dv or .dvi would be better. Thanks for your help.
