# White box on webpage before swf appears

this is buggin me big time!

im getting a white box appearing on my home page before the .swf kicks in, its the same dimensions as the swf.  
i followed the advice from a goToAndLearn tutorial and i’ve used frame 2 to export my actionscript and left frame 1 empty (this worked for another project i did) but still i get the white box. i’ve embedded the swf with both an opague and transparent html settings. nothing makes a difference.

even though theres nothing on frame 1, my bandwidth profile shows theres 9kbs there. i cant get it any lower. is this the problem?

what makes it so bad is that my html background colour is completely black with just the swf file and i get this ugly white box,

please can someone suggest something
