oK… what I was trying to say was that you need to change your embed and object codes in the html page. In the object tage next to the others of the same type, and in the html format you should include a new param. It has this value. PARAM NAME=bgcolor VALUE=#000000 in the embed code you should include bgcolor=#000000 in the code like you see below. quality=high bgcolor=#000000 WIDTH=800 HEIGHT=600 I think that will solve any initial white. ---

Can you be more specific with the Embed Code…Do I replace everything with the string you have provided… I don’tunderstand what it is doing so I don’t know what I am looking for in the source… Where do I make the changes… do I just replace the entire embedsrc= sting… Drew ---

ok … if you’re using components or you have movie clips with the _export in first frame_ option selected in the linkage properties … the movie won’t show a thing until those components or movie clips are loaded :-\ it might be your problem … ---

that is my problem./… What do people do about this? I have audio that exports on the first frame of actionscript. IF that makes any sense… There is got to be a way to hide this issue from the users… ---

If you have a sound in the first frame, try starting it on the second frame, or whatever frame comes directly after your preloader. as for [http://www.drewdown-n-sonicbee.com/sd.htm](http://www.drewdown-n-sonicbee.com/sd.htm) it looks like the page bgcolor is set to #FFFFFF if you want it to match the movie, it would have to be #000000 also. ---

There are no sounds on the first frame. There is a sound objest that is set to export on the first frame. thanks for the help… I figured out most of the HTML issues with teh colors and so forth. Though I don’t understand why I need to change any of the “embed” code… Is there a way to set the Linkage of the audio to export on the 3rd frame instead of the first? Drew ---

I feel as thoough the answer was stated in the previous post “workaround” But I am not sure what they are saying… Do I need to do something differently with my sound object? Like load instead of attach? Confused??? I know there has to be a way to make my movie load with the loader before the audio. I dunno…I havae tried to use the loadSound…but I get an error for the url??? Drew ---

it doesn’t matter … drag and drop the sound on the first frame and select **stop** in the sync menu 😉 ---

select the frame and you’ll see it in the properties panel 🙂 ---

It works now…But I dunno why…? I hate that. It makes me feel like someone gave me the file…, Ok So I will try to see if this fixes my loader issue and I’ll let you know… Thanks for your help and patience… I would be gald to hook you up with some audio for your designs…for your trouble.
