# Why does a textbox take longer to appear than anything else?

Hi all,

I have an input box and some text in a movie clip. It is external and it loads when a menu button is clicked. The input box is in a layer on top of a kinda grey background thing i made for it. What i noticed is that the input box appears a couple of seconds after it should - all items start from the first frame of a 30 frame timeline - and i want to know if there is a way to stop this as it makes the clip look untidy. Also, please can you let me know if the input box will work (as a form) even if it is in a movie clip - i have no idea if it does or not.
