# Why does it move?

when you click on the home button, half the background shifts. anyone have any idea why this happens and how i can fix it?

I don’t see any problem with it. When you click Home, a garage-door like animation plays. Is that what it’s supposed to do?

post the fla. looks like there is a problem with the mc you are triggering from the button.

nvm guys, it doesnt do it when viewed in the browser. only in the flash player, but thanks for looking

bitmap shifting is a common problem.

bitmaps on flash sometimes gets crazy… they sometimes tend to move esp when there’s a moving object below/over them… or if they are tweened… sometimes it does happens on certain OS or browser, anyhu, there’s a thread somewhere here that suggests to lower your bitmap alpha property to 97%-99%. Try it. It works! =)
