# Why won't this work in flash player 8?

I want to use this tutorial ([http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx/centered\_popup.htm](http://www.kirupa.com/forum/../developer/mx/centered_popup.htm)) to launch center pop up windows. It works perfect in flash player 6, but not in flash player 7 or 8.

Does anyone know why? Is there a way to fix the actionscript so it will work in flash player 8?
