# Windows Time Synch

Just about an hour ago, I realized that nearly every site I went to on Firefox or IE6 asked me to verify server certificates. I noticed that the error had something to do with time. My computer’s time is correct - same as my other clocks. Then I attempted to synchronize with the master clock and it said that it couldn’t connect to the server. Is the time server down just for me or is anyone else getting this problem?

I now realized that the time set itself to 2006 for some reason. I set it back to 2008 and now I don’t get the certificate errors. But I still can’t synch to the master clock…

Are you sure you don’t have a virus or something. I don’t think they actually exist anymore but could be.

//edit do the other time servers work for you?

I did a full scan with AVG Free and it says I have no viruses. I cannot update time with any of the listed servers.
