# WMODE and getting flash buttons to work

Hey, if any one could help it would be most appreciated.

I read this tutorial about using transparenty backgrounds in HTML: [http://www.macromedia.com/go/tn\_14201](http://www.macromedia.com/go/tn_14201)

I was able to get the background to disappear, but in Internet Explorer (damn Microsoft) I couldn’t get the buttons to work. the files in the tutorial work, but I couldn’t get mine to go. It is so frustrating.

If anyone has any idea or any thoughts I would much appreciate them.

your only problem is that the buttons don’t work. You tried the buttons without wmode?

Maybe some more info … ?
