# Writing to a .TXT file

Hi
I need to be able to write to an existing .TXT file which sits in the same folder on the server as the .SWF.
I can read from it no problem, but I can’t see any way in Flash to write to the same file. Am I missing something or isn’t it possible?
A speedy response would save me banging my head on this brick wall any longer

I don’t think so unlesss somehow you can incorperate somesort of ftp log in.

I know you can do it with php, there are some relatively simple commands that can open, read, and write files. I, unfortunately, have no clue how to actually do this.
