# Writing to xml from flash using php

i was trying senocular’s news\_editor and simple\_editor on my web server so i could start to pick it apart and change it for my needs, BUT! it never actually saved anything to the xml file. why is that? everything seems to work but the xml file does not change? am i missing something? is that the way it was supposed to work? i just want to be able to edit my xml stuff from the website itself instead of logging into the server and digging through xml.
