# Www?

Here’s a question. I’ve seen a couple sites where the address of the site changes, for example.

> **[Bob.com - Best of Business](http://bob.com/)**
>
> We Buy, Sell and Research Old Stock and Bond Certificates

then rather than the extension of plumber

[www.bob.com/plumber](http://www.bob.com/plumber)

I’ve seen

[www.plumber.bob.com](http://www.plumber.bob.com)

or

[http://plumber.bob.com](http://plumber.bob.com)

Is this possible to do at all and if so how do I do this?

Are these kinds of sites usually done by people with their own server?
