# XML Connector and multiple scenes

I’m not sure whether this is a bug or some new feature of Flash MX 2004 (7.01): it seems that using XML Connectors to get data for an FLA works only if the FLA consists of a single scene. The moment I add a scene the XML Connector does not appear to receive data from the remote host. Initially I thought the stop() action I used to prevent the movie from looping from scene to scene might have caused this problem but I have concluded that in fact, it has nothing to do with the problem at hand.

Any ideas?
