# XML-driven Drop-down menu / "this"

hello,

I was wondering which object is referenced by “this” in the following code line:

GenerateMenu(this, “mainmenu\_mc”, x, y, depth, menu\_xml.firstChild);

Is it the MovieClip “name” as the ActionScript is linked to it?
