# Xml drop down menu

I have been studying the tutorial on this site and seem to be getting nowhere. I need my first ‘item’ to look differently and also function differently. i.e. on the tuturial, you rollover one and the other ones pop out from the side and continue, i need the items to drop down in the first rollover and then come out the side on every other one after that. could someone pleeeeeeaaase help me. I am pretty sure I need to add a new variable, but am unsure on where or how. I am not actionscripter by any means.
